Solid product and works fine but it can stick out of the back of a pc and so it puts a lot of leverage on the gpu. Also, it blocks the ports directly beside it. This little adapter works perfectly well to use a new graphics card's DP and your favorite old monitor or projector still using VGA plugs. One issue is the width - it tends to block off any neighboring ports, which makes investing in the cable adapter version a better idea if you want to use multiple ports next to each other in a multi-monitor set up.
