I've purchased several of these for SLR cameras, pro-video video cameras and camcorders, so that they can be plugged straight into an AV system or flat panel display to facilitate the immediate playback of footage. On the description of the product I did not notice that the HDMI male plug was a mini so the product is of no use to me, however it is not worth the effort to claim a refund so that is the end of the story.
