I purchased mine at the end of August. Works well on my Windows 10. Good video and audio quality (nothing needed adjusting as defaults worked fine) Was just plug and play with no separate software to install.

I have since purchased a second one for a friend. This went on a Windows 7 PC but installed just as easily and works just as well as mine.
