DEEPCOOL DP-EC-PEC300 PEC 300 PCI-E x16 Black Extender Ribbon Riser Cable

Used this riser on a Phanteks Eclipse P500A using its GPU vertical mount that comes with the case. Straight off the bat, the screw mounts for Phanteks case did not go wide enough to accomplish the base length of the female riser end. It’s screw holes was however fitted on the recess of the mount so I used epoxy putty to fill in the gap to allow me make a solid base for the insertion of the screws. Basically, over fill the cavity of the mount, then sand the putty down once it hardens like cement.
I could have spent almost double the cost, but at the end I had a spare epoxy putty which would have probably cost me $0.50 and problem solved. The extra length is good, but the male end which clips into the motherboard doesn't seat firmly. For some reason there is too much space when the clip snaps shut and it doesn't clamp tight. It's a good length and I had no display problems unlike a much cheaper one that I had previously purchased. Only gripe is that it isn't as flexible as I'd like.
