Most of the early issues have now been resolved and everything is running without issue.
Sure you can get the 13900K to run faster but this requires insane amount of tweaking and in some cases cooling.

After upgrading from an i5 8400, this is a significant step up. Tasks that would usually use 80-100% of my CPUs resources are lucky to exceed 9-10% on the 7800X3D. Temps are great, running a 240mm AIO and at idle the CPU is around 35c. Can't wait to buy a new GPU to pair with it. After upgrading from an i5 8400, this is a significant step up. If you can budget for a 7800x3d, then do so!
Idles around 35-40c and maybe hits 70c & 70w+ if you can push it far enough

I said to myself not to upgrade till next gen, but after seeing ddr5 price drop. I just could not resist upgrading. So I pickup this cpu and gigabyte b650 elite ax mobo. Installed this cpu into an msi motherboard just yesterday. I’ve had the same computer for about 6 years now so I decided to upgrade. I was considering an i7-13700kf but decided to spend a bit more (motherboard included) and get this instead after seeing the reviews.

I went from a ryzen 5 2600 to this and the difference is astounding. I tried as hard as I could but could barely get it to 25% utilisation and it never went above 50W and had a max temp of 60°C when gaming.

I’m still using my old gtx 1070 (soon to change) and it’s made this 7 year old card feel new again. I replaced my 7900X with this and I definitely notice the performance gains at 4k. It's up to around 10% while paired with a 4090.

The additional benefits are that it runs cooler and uses much less power. I don't want my CPU to run at 90° and use 400W. I want it to run at 69° while gaming and 80° while under full load.
