I have Belkin 8 outlet Surge Protector. While the power board can fit inside this tray, the devices power cables simply won't have enough room. So I end up mounting the belkin underneath (upside down) with cable ties. Too bad because this is a good sturdy unit but you're going to need smaller power board. I'll be brief, the clearance room on this cable tray is awful. A moderately sized power board will have typically 220-240v power cables bent at almost complete right angles from the rubber plug socket. Any non-standard plug may not fit at all.

I can see this being useful for a business where the range of plugs are limited, the power board potentially small, and rarely needing to unplug or plug things in at a workstation would suit this product fine. It would also benefit from having an IT department that has plenty of spare power cables as the bending is going to dramatically shorten their lifespan. For home use this is extremely small and limited in how you can mount it to work around the small vertical clearance. If you're exclusively plugging in flat plugs this will not be an issue, but as many computer, audio and game consoles use the standard power cable it is possible it won't fit well.

Installation was easy and instructions for mounting were handy, but I can't recommend this to anybody unless you're using a very thin power board with little safety features.

It's a piece of steel with white paint on it. I attached this to the bottom of my desk with 3m command strips and it's held on really solid. Its very sturdy and well built. Nice finish, mounts are simple and easy to fasten.

While this thing has great build quality, I wish they made the hook part a bit lengthier just to account for plugs that are bigger such as the PSUs, monitors, etc which defeats the purpose of keeping the cables tidy underneath the desk. I'll probably have to order overseas for an adjustable desk edge hook. I've got a 6 plug extender slotted into this, and unfortunately it doesn't have a lot of room inside. It's really finicky plugging/ unplugging devices, however it does do the job of keeping the cables tidied away once you do get it into place.

Installation was easy to follow, but had very awkward positioning and was finicky to do. I think I'm going to replace this with a net going forward to make it easier to manage. Well built and strong. The only problem is the space between the bracket and the desk. If you have one of those transformers that you're plugging in, it either doesn't fit, or it's VERY tight. It's fine. The drill cardboard template was slightly off line.
As with other reviews, it needs to be a bit deeper. Due to the height, you have to put your power board onto it's side, for the plugs to fit.

At first I mainly bought this tray for the color but was impressed with quality when I received it. Fits my power board and cables for my monitor etc. perfectly. Have been using for well over a month. You should be fine with assembly as long as you read instructions carefully. Would recommend.
