Device promised such a lot. However interface is a bit slow. It also interrupts you every 5 minutes to subscribe to additional services. It is vey easy and quick to set up, and makes my LG smart TV faster. It takes over the TV power control from the TV remote controller which is quite handy. Lack of build-in freeview tv app makes me a bit disappointing. The tvnz+ app only has three TV channels. Anyway, it is a good and quick TV stick when you don't need watching live freeview tv channels . It is vey easy and quick to set up, and makes my LG smart TV faster. Great product - fast, very little lag from remote control. Alexa voice command features not much slower than direct button input. Big selection of content and apps. Effectively gave my TV another few years for less than $100… way cheaper than a new TV. Compatibility of voice control from other Alexa-enabled devices is maybe the only ropey aspect but with the Alexa button on the remote available, it’s a pretty minor complaint. Highly recommend. This product is great, I love that it controls my TV and not just the fire stick. Allowed us to stream Disney+ and Spark Sport on our TV that is only a year older than the newer apps. A truly remarkable product that did exactly as advertised. With the required Amazon login details and a WIFI connection, this device turned my TV into an entertainment hub within minutes. Downloading the TVNZ and Three NOW apps provided Freeview content. An added bonus was downloading the Synology DS Video app for android providing me with access to my NAS.
I have had this product for less than a month and it was an excellent deal.

If for whatever reason your amazon account is put on hold, or closed, the firestick will automatically log you out. You can't access anything and are stuck on the sign in page of your firestick. You can contact amazon to try and get them to sort it out, however long that takes, or you can log in with another account or create a new account with another email but you will lose the settings of your old account. I guess I should be thankful I'm not one of those people who run their smart homes on amazon alexa products and have been suddenly shut out.

I'm very happy with this purchase. Very simple to setup and get started and I was able to quickly and easily get it to stream videos from my network NAS drive.
