Overview

The advent of Blu-ray technology has led to the introduction of high capacity storage discs to meet the demand cause by the rapid growth of high definition television (HDTV).

Blu-ray discs get their name from blue laser technology. The shorter wavelength of the laser is the reason it is blue in colour. The blue laser has a wavelength of 405nm compared with the wavelength of 650nm for DVD which utilises red laser technology. The benefit of having a blue laser with a shorter wavelength means it is possible to write smaller data pits and therefore vastly increase the amount of data on the disc.

Blu-ray discs offer 3 to 5 times the storage capacity of a standard recordable DVD disc, enabling the recording, rewriting and playback of high definition video (HD).

For use only in drives or recorders that support Blu-ray Discs without cartridge.Verbatim's professional optical media feature tighter specifications than the standards given by the relevant standardisation bodies.

Tighter specifications ensure better compatibility with writers and recorders. This results in higher recording quality, thus ensuring longer archival lifetime and better readability.

Blu-ray Blank Media

There was a time this product was almost unobtainable and if it was it was prohibitively expensive.
Great we can now get this great product at an affordable price. One can now make high quality home Blu-rays to play at home.

25pk Blu-Ray recordable/printable discs

A very good product which I've used before. I put the discs into Blu-ray cases after recording which is better for storage than the spindle pack. Not the very best deal I can get but close and the supplier is local. Ordered online which is pretty easy from PB Tech. I will definitely use this product again.

Reliable Blu-ray blank media that I always purchase for recording my favorite television shows and movies.

Never had a problem with these Blu-ray disks and the price is the lowest I've found in New Zealand as well.

Shipping Costs

7 day right of exchange

If you change your mind after making a purchase, or realise you have ordered the incorrect item, you can enjoy the peace of mind that we offer a 7 day exchange policy.

To exchange a product, goods must be sealed / unopened, with packaging in original condition, and accompanied by a valid receipt dated no more than 7 calendar days from when you request an exchange.

If there is not a suitable product that can be exchanged for your returned item you will be offered a credit on your account or gift card based on the value paid at the time of purchase.
