Installed it on a 5800x3d keeps it cool with no throttling, silent at idle minimal noise under load (drowned out by case and GPU fans). Easy to install and remove too. I originally bought a CPU cooler and took it back as I had trouble installing it to the motherboard, the guy was super helpful and I ended up buying this CPU cooler which has been great. I can run anything I like with minimal temps, and it is super quiet. I've used Noctua air coolers for many years, and once again they've not let me down. The stock cooler that was included with my 12th Gen i5 12500 was TERRIBLE, with idle temps around 44 degrees C. With this Noctua cooler, my CPU now idles at around 35 degrees and under full load barely goes beyond 54 degrees.

Installation was easy. The motherboard tray in my PC case has a cut-out under the CPU, so I didn't even need to dismantle the system to install this Noctua cooler. The best part was, the thermal compound is already applied to the cooler! Noise wise, my CPU doesn't put out enough heat to max out the fan, so it runs very quietly (around 50~60% under full load).

Noctua always makes great products and this is no exception. Keeps the CPU temps down and was super easy to install even the variety of brackets. Thermal paste pre-applied as a bonus as well. Has enough bits and gizmos in the package to suit any installation. Keeps my CPU nice and frosty. Do check the measurements though as it's a chonky beast. Bought this to replace the stock cooler for my r5 3600. Wanted something quieter and more efficient, got both for sure. Dropped 10-15 degrees in all use cases and that's with setting fan curve at 50% up until it hits 60 degrees. Easy to install too, though I did have to take my PC apart.
