Crucial P2 2TB NVMe M.2 Internal SSD

Bought this as a games drive and it's great value, been running well for that purpose for a couple months now. Probably not an ideal drive for windows or doing a lot of large transfers as the performance tanks when it runs out of cache. Some casual research shows that the life expectancy (if going by TBW) is pretty good compared to it's competitors. Problem is Crucial are not being transparent about the MLC and the price keeps dropping - was it originally shipped as TLC but is now QLC? I have recently purchased one of these in the last month and couldn't be happier. It is an m.2 drive giving you the quick boot and loading times which are substantially quicker than a HDD or SSD. It was also cheaper than all of the SSDs on the market for a 2TB drive making anything but this purchase a no brainer. Getting 2-7 times the speeds of a sata SSD for a cheaper price really makes this stand out as It shows how good the value is. Although it is just marginally slower than my boot drive, it costs twice as much while producing 4 times the storage space.

I bought this and it's 1TB little brother - the 1TB is installed as a Kubuntu Linux boot drive, and this 2TB is my home user data drive - thus far it has performed very well; average transfer rate is close to the 2400 MB/s stated max, so I'm very happy with it's performance in my Ryzen 5900x based system - excellent value, and recommended if you find the price of the larger capacity Gen 4 drives a little bit too much to chew as I did.
