Crucial P3 4TB NVMe M.2 Internal SSD

I was looking for a 4tb storage extension for my desktop PC. I spotted the Crucial P3 4Tb when it was on special in mid November 2022. It compared very favourably, price-wise, against the 4Tb SSD range at that time. It certainly is a lot faster than a SSD.

The speeds I have been getting are at least what is advertised and sometimes more - and certainly way faster that a SATA SSD.

It is not the fastest NVME M.2 drive, by any means, but if you are considering upgrading your storage from a mechanical SATA hard drive or even an SSD this is an excellent option. i was gonna go with a samsung evo pro but i figured due too my pc being like old there is real no point.. anyways they got software that can boost the speed of the drive called Crucial Storage Executive its close too running at what it could they say you can on my pci 2 i get about what it says it can run at via some catching system..

I needed more space to fit an ever burgeoning game library, and transferring to/from external drives was getting quite slow and cumbersome. My motherboard had a free M.2 slot, and this product even came in cheaper than equivalently-sized SATA SSDs! So I got one and no longer have to suffer through USB transfer speeds moving files around. This M.2 part is excellent quality and performs brilliant;y. I highly recommend it. It speeds up your PC by about 3 to 5 times over a standard SATA connected HDD. I used AOMEI backupper to copy my previous boot disc to this drive and it went perfectly, increasing my primary storage from 1TB to 4TB. Have used for a few weeks now with no problems.
In a windows system the drive will show up as around 3.7TB instead of 4TB, but that is just the way windows displays storage capacity (which should actually be labelled as TiB). The full 4TB capacity is still available for storage on windows despite showing as less. Performs exactly as I wanted and gives me a whole bunch of space for my steam library and everything loads quickly making the experience even better. I've used it for a week now and the only downside is that it's gen 3 instead of 4 so its a little bit slower than it's counterpart but still plenty for gaming. The ssd arrived really fast and works straight away out of the box. With 4TB I can easily store all of my games without worrying about running out of space ever! Really cheap and fast delivery!
