it's fine
I bought this to use as an external drive inside a USB 3.0 enclosure. I've had it for a couple weeks now and it's fine. It does the job, but it is much slower than my other purpose-built external USB drive. It was worth it for the price because I really needed some extra storage quick, but I wouldn't buy it again for this purpose. It might be better as an internal drive, but that's not what I use it for.
