Seagate SkyHawk 2TB Internal HDD

As per usual the drive copying/ converting software was fabulous and easy to use. It was a straight replacement for a 6 year old drive that was developing errors (in the hardware logs) that were accumulating over time.
No Cons to speak off and getting 6 years of trouble free data storage I find reasonable. Some drives can last longer but the bare minimum for me is 5 years.
I love the versatility of modern storage with M.2 drive giving fabulous performance especially when you have 2 on a motherboard. This allows me up to get the best value options for my Disk drives and Seagate really steps up in this area.

This Part is one of many New Parts for my first ever complete ground up build computer.
All parts where selected for specific purpose for this build which will be my Media Centre PC
for my Home Theatre System once I get my gear set up.
It's all new and running Windows 11 Professional as that's what I am generally use to, "Professional"
that is. There is only one item I am still waiting on to arrive to complete this build which is a 3.5''
front mounted Memory Card Reader Writer unit. Though I am considering an extra 120 Fan for the
case rear to add extra protection against over-heating, though unit is working great.

My lack of knowledge has me baffled over why Windows File Explorer fails to show this HDD.
I will keep researching until I get it working as it's "storage" for Media files. And the fact that it's
software allows it to be turned off when not needed is way cool, if I could only get it recognized.. LOL

Bought for a new UDM Pro. So far it has worked great. Stores lots of surveillance footage and no issues scrolling back through footage. Have 4 cameras continuously recording.
