Seagate IronWolf 10TB Internal HDD

Bought to be the first drive in a 40TB NAS around a month ago, no problems at all, however these are noticeably louder in terms of access read/write noise. Not an issue if they're going into an already noisy rack or room, but not quite suitable for anywhere close to a bedroom or lounge. Spent ages trying to find the perfect hard drives for Synology ds1019+. Noise being a major consideration. Settled on the WD 10tb but then they brought out a new model that is quite noisy and I couldn’t get the old model any longer. Took a chance and changed to the Seagate IronWolf 10tb. When it is hibernating there is nothing to hear, really quiet. Because of the way a NAS works though there are all sorts of things that can wake it up and when it is awake it makes a knocking sound as the drive heads work (like listening to your old man’s stomach rumbling). Setup in raid 5 (3 disks) with 1 hot spare and are working fine with no issues other than noise.
