Would happily recommend the WD Green SSDs if you are looking to revive an old machine. The leap from spinning disk to SSD really helps make an old machine much more usable, and the WD Green is good value for that application. These are great. You can download Acronis True Image to clone the old hard drive, whatever brand it is, then sit back and enjoy the vast improvement in access speed. Easily the best way to cheaply revitalise an old i5 Desktop PC. They are reliable too. 240GB is fine for running the OS and a few programmes, just use a conventional HDD for storage. These are great.
