Coming from a barbers point of view, great value for money. Also handy trick for these to work better when shaving, the stubble can't be longer than 2 days growth. So use trimmers first to cut down the hair shorter and then use foil shavers to get smoother finish. Seen some people go straight in with the foils and not get the results they were hoping for. It shaves really well and very smoothly. Still remember the first time shaving with it and feeling the area around the lips feelings the smoothness. It is not heavy so its really portable, waterproof so cleaning is easy and it charges quickly too. Thumbs up for this one. It shaves really well and very smoothly. Shaver works well for the price. Gives a pretty close shave, not quite as close as a blade but pretty good.

I'd been using a Braun Series 1 shaver for many years but the battery life was coming to an end and new foils and cutters were unavailable. Time for a new shaver.
Alas, Series 1 is no longer available and Series 3 is now the 'entry level' model - I wasn't looking for a 'bells and whistles' one and Braun is a reliable, tried-and-tested brand.
A Google search revealed that PB Tech had the Series 3 at the best price in town: funny, I'd never thought of going there for a shaver!

It's ok, though actually slower to use than a razor and you have to repeatedly go back and forth over the same spot many times to remove (most) of the stubble. End up having to use a razor to finish up anyway. For the price it’s good value. I’ve used Braun 3s and 5s for awhile. This is the most basic model but it shaves to the Braun standard as it advertises. The charging is good and lasts. The shave head cuts clean and to contour. Like the colour design and ergonomic fit/balance in the hand. As it’s basic, you do need to sweep your face a couple of times. For the price it’s good value.
