I wanted one that would work well with small kids, and this one seems to give credible-looking readings, right down to our 18 month old, as long as you can get them to hold their hands still for long enough. For the 18 month old, this happens only if they are asleep. But I guess if your kids are sick enough to actually need to have their oxygen levels checked they'll probably be dozy enough to hold their hand still enough for a measurment. We bought this for our covid preparedness pack and it is very simple to use. It came with a nice wee case and batteries so was ready to go straight out of the box. I cannot comment on the full accuracy of this but it appears to work as it should. Similar products at chemist were a lot more expensive so this was a great buy for the price. Got it in case someone in our house gets a bad dose of Covid. Came with comprehensive instructions and seems to work O.K.
