Well, I just wanted to brush my teeth, and this was the best special offer for an Oral-B brush with a lithium battery. Yes, the battery is important, because the cheaper brushes have limited life, and eventually need constant charging. This one lasts a good while on a single charge - yet to see what the battery life will be.
Not at all interested in another meaningless app that tells me I'm brushing my teeth while I'm brushing my teeth - fortunately bluetooth can be turned off.
As for 5 different brushing modes... well I've only ever used 1. The other 4 just make it more complicated to turn the thing off when I finished.

I'd like this brush much better if all it did was turn on with a single click, and turn off again with another single click. No faff. No flashing lights. No unexpected changes in speed. Something I can use when I'm half asleep.
If you want the whistles and bells, and a mixed assortment of plastic clip on things, and constant data monitoring, then go right ahead - there's no question that oral B brushes clean teeth.
If you want it simple, buy something cheaper.

Very easy to use. In reply to "Over Complex", SilverM, 25/09/2022. I also thought you had to go through all the modes to switch off. Found that all you have to do is hold the button down until it goes off. Had to press really hard to catch the sensitivity light - Must be doing it right. Still like my multifunction heads and they work a treat on this model. I will still keep my old Twin Set Triumph Travel Hand pieces (over 7 years old) as this has a multi-voltage plug when travelling overseas. After several years using back to oral B again, As good as always. Alhough it has app to link with your toothbrush, I barely use it everyday. The pressure function is very good, red light comes up when you give too much pressure on your teeth. After several years using back to oral B again, As good as always.
