Razer BlackShark v2 Pro Wireless Gaming Headset

Well, this was kind of a let down.
Thought they were going back in the box for a return.
Turns out there are others who have had the same problem.
The problem? A clicking/distortion in the right cup.
The solution.
Turn the system volume down to 80% or so and turn off the THX (it was terrible with THX on) and it goes away.
You can still turn the volume up and down on the headset, you won't miss anything, it's louder than you want and I'm a deaf old man.
Upsides? The battery life seems great, they're light, they keep out external noise pretty well, they're fairly comfortable.

They are having to recall a bunch of units with a defect on the USB dongle, and a bunch of cracking and horrible sound produced by that defect. Razer promptly replaced my product when I reached out to support, but in fact, you can see they have messed up with this one and the quality is still affected by the wireless issue. They have even produced now a BlackShark V2 PRO 2023*, probably a new line of this product to try to get rid of the issue. I'm unsure if they could actually resolve it. So best of luck trying it. Our son has autism and he is very particular about the earpiece being comfortable. These are excellent for our son for both their comfort and their purpose. Super clear sound and great mic. This headset was an amazing buy, and for all the games I play, I have felt that this headset has given me a major advantage. The sound quality allows for an immersive play and the wireless capabilities removes the stress of cable management. I would highly recommend this product. Purchased this as my first ever wireless headset due to such good reviews, but was let down, amazingly comfortable and added after market thicker earpads to help.
For gaming though was really rubbish.
Sound is average at best no matter how much you play with razer synapse or even try it on dolby atmos.
Struggle to hear footsteps in games and volume can not be adjusted that high.
Spatial surround echoes and creates odd noises to try and give you that edge in gaming but sacrifices sound quality. Purchased this as my first ever wireless headset due to such good reviews, but was let down, amazingly comfortable and added after market thicker earpads to help.

Has good charge, charges quickly, sound is great (took me a while to get used to after changing headsets. The mic isnt crazy good but it's still good for a headset mic. I have used this product for just under a month and am generally happy with the product. It is comfortable with a nice mic and audio quality.
