Microsoft 2000 Wireless Desktop Keyboard & Mouse Combo

I really like this keyboard, in fact this is a replacement for the last one I had, where the dongle broke. The keyboard is unobtrusive and pretty comfy. The price is good. Your often-used keys might wear the letters off after a few years, but I didn't really mind.

Unfortunately I have almost immediately knocked the new dongle as well (argh), and it's looking in bad shape. The dongles are crappy, and if they break you have to buy a whole new set of everything - what a landfill bolstering waste.

So, I like the keyboard enough to have bought it twice, but will a gamble on a different keyboard next time due to the dongle problem.

This would have to be on the cheaper side of comparable products, however is comfortable to use and looks sharp. I purchased to be part of my WFH setup which I use once or twice a week and it does the job perfectly. It was a good price for what you got, but unfortunately the quality didn't suit me. The keys were fine tbut quite loud to type on which I'm not a fan of.

As soon as I unboxed it, I found what little light was coming through the window was reflecting in a very distracting way, instantly highlighting the fingerprints from unboxing and I found myself constantly using a microfibre cloth because smudges were so obvious. This wouldn't work well in a well-lit environment, in my opinion. It looks somewhat cheap out of the box in my opinion.

The mouse was larger and heavier than what I'm used to, but it did fit my hand very well. The mouse wheel felt awful though, and I see other people complaining about this. It had a smooth scroll but sometimes felt a little clunky, as if it was caught on something. I couldn't get the scroll wheel to click for the life of me (like opening links in new tabs) and I was quite frustrated after about 5 minutes of use because the scroll was jumping all over the place.

I ended up exchanging this keyboard/mouse because I couldn't find redeeming features, and ended up spending more money getting something much better quality.
If you are on a budget, this might be perfect for you, but I'd advise you find a sample somewhere before you buy.

This mouse and keyboard are very comfortable to use. The mouse is very well shaped to support my hand. The keys on keyboard are a little hard to press in the beginning but after about 4-5 days of using it, it has become the right amount of clickable. Typing on it is a breeze I think. These also come with a Microsoft Mouse and Keyboard Center that is very handy for adjusting the settings and set macros for your personal usage.
This is not the best for gaming but for office work , it is definitely a great, great product for the price. The wireless feature means wire clutter is a non-issue.

We returned this keyboard and mouse. The mouse wheel didn't work (even after checking all the settings), and you couldn't click on everything. Returned for logitech brand as never have a problem with that. We tried this Microsoft keyboard on both apple and Microsoft and had problems on both. We returned this keyboard and mouse. I like the keyboard, its comfortable and easy to use but the mouse is oversized and chunky. I also find that quite often the pointer disappears and takes a few moments to reappear and doesn't always go where u want it to straight away. The scroll part of the mouse is also really annoying, I have managed to change the setting but still not the best. The wifi stick is also too long. It gets in the way as I use it on my laptop. I like the keyboard, its comfortable and easy to use but the mouse is oversized and chunky.
