Microsoft Sculpt Ergonomic Desktop Keyboard & Mouse Combo

Great product. Mouse feels different to a standard mouse but really comfortable once you are used to it. Keyboard is nice and light making it easy to use on your lap or on the table. It is such a great design and feel. BUT! It has a hardware design flaw where some keys are not capitalised if typed quickly. I am a programmer, so my SQL statements can sometimes look like SELEcT, which is unacceptable. I've never encountered such an issue after using many different keyboards.There are forum posts about this issue since 2014 so don't expect a Microsoft fix soon. It is such a great design and feel. Really coomfortable keyboard to use - the letters are spaced a little more than a standard straight keyboard, so can take a little getting used to. The split space bar seems odd, but works as it should. The software in Windows 10 can disable the capslock key - which is handy if you hate the caps lock key as much as I do.

A long time user of the Microsoft ergo keyboard I highly rate this new sculpt version. Keys aren't as high, mimicking laptop keys. With that said, the separate number keypad whilst great providing more space for mouse use, it does take alot of getting use to as I used the 'ctrl+alt+del' alot, along with the enter key so just a lil more time getting use to it. The Mouse is a marked improvement on the old version, but do find the two thumb buttons more annoying than helpful, they could have been positioned differently. Comfortable keyboard to type on and with the keypad being separate the main keyboard is not as wide which works better on my computer desk, allowing for more room to use the mouse.
The only part I'm not that fussed on is the mouse, I'm using a good Logitech one instead of the one that came with this keyboard. Love the keyboard, and the calculator option on the number pad is great. The mouse is a little too big for my hand, so hasn't quite addressed my RSI as much as I'd hoped, but is still heaps better than a traditional mouse. The keyboard is the best I've ever used. All but fixed the RSI I had in my fingers and is so comfortable to use. The mouse is also comfortable but is occasionally really jumpy which can be incredible frustrating and brings this down to 4 stars. The keyboard is the best I've ever used.
