Dymo 12965 Organizer Xpress Emboss Label Maker

I bought this as my old trusty embosser got too jammed to fix after 5 years of heavy use. Great totally manual unit. PB Tech had the best price and I couldn't fault the service. Was looking at getting a new Dymo embossor machine as my other ones are rather ancient and I was afraid they'd break. Realised there is a new Dymo embossor available. Promptly ordered it over a chinese knock off. It arrived promptlly with a roll of Dymo inside. The embossor is flimsier than I expected it to be but never mind. The clincher is I'm very disappointed to see they've changed the font as well as the spacing. I simply don't like it. Each letter takes up a lot of space and it's just not "nice" looking. Never occurred to me that the font wouldn't be the same as the traditional one from the 70s. So guess what? I really like the retro look of the labels. The labels themselves could be a little clearer when punched out... But over all, the style and look I was going for. I'm getting rid of my other label maker now because the aesthetic of the embossed labels is what I wanted. I love that you don't need batteries in the label maker. Does exactly as it says and even comes with a decent length tape so you can get underway (not like others). Refills are also considerably cheaper too! Super quick and easy to make classic embossed labels. Both the labeler and the label tape are a really great price when compared to printed labels. Only issue is if you get on a roll with making labels for everything, your hand can get sore from clicking the labeller, but apart from that, would 100%recommend.
