The Racing Pyramid

For the 1975 F1 season, team drivers Carlos Reutemann and Carlos Pace drove the Martini & Rossi sponsored BT44B to an impressive 2nd place in the Constructor's Championship. Legendary F1 designer Gordon Murray joined the Brabham team and first designed the BT42. It was lightweight, compact, aero-dynamic and featured a distinctive pyramid monocoque design. The BT42 was improved upon for both the 1974 and 1975 F1 seasons and were named the BT44 and BT44B respectively. The 1975 season saw the BT44B record strong results including Carlos Pace winning the Brazilian GP and Carlos Reutemann also winning the German GP. It was said that the BT44B was the 1975 season's strongest machine.

- This is a 1/12 scale plastic assembly model kit of the Brabham BT44B from the 1975 F1 season.
- Length: 355mm, Width: 162mm, Height: 106mm.
- The unique features of the BT44B including its pyramid monocoque, nose cowling that had left & right radiators, and high induction box have all been faithfully reproduced.
- Front and rear suspension is equipped with coil springs to provide the model with a smooth action.
- The steering wheel is linked to front wheels to allow movement.
- The Ford DFV engine, including the fuel pipes and ignition cords, is realistically reproduced.
- The front cowling, cockpit fairing, and induction box are all removable.
- Photo-etched parts are included to depict parts such as the wingtips and front and rear brake discs. In addition, seatbelt parts are also included.
- Decals for No.7 and No.8 cars are included.
- Slick tires are made with semi pneumatic rubber.

To exchange a product, goods must be sealed / unopened, with packaging in original condition, and accompanied by a valid receipt dated no more than 7 calendar days from when you request an exchange.

If there is not a suitable product that can be exchanged for your returned item you will be offered a credit on your account or gift card based on the value paid at the time of purchase.
