I'm not sure what the bad reviewer did wrong but there is nothing wrong with this product. A new SSD and 2 of these bad boys with breath new life into compatible hardware - just make sure your hardware is compatible first...! I dont know how my laptop was functioning on 4gb of ram. now that it has 16gb ram,,, dammmmn! thanks to the guys from the Te Rapa branch for helping me out, I appreciate it. I bought this along with a 500GB Samsung EVO SSD for my HP laptop that I bought in 2016. The computer already had 8GB RAM so this was a pretty significant upgrade, and once the SSD was in there as well it felt like a brand new computer. The only bottleneck now is the ageing AMD CPU, but these two additions significantly improved its overall performance. I was thinking it was time to replace this machine, but with these upgrades I think I'll get at LEAST another couple of years out of it. Very reliable, and a great price too! RAM worked perfectly. Easy to install. Acer Aspire E 14 laptop with 4GB RAM now "snappy" with 8GB RAM. Menus, etc. open quickly. The old laptop is now quite usable. RAM worked perfectly.
