BLUE Snowball Multi-pattern USB mic, includes tripod and USB cable. Colour Aluminium

We bought this microphone about a month ago for my wife who is a violin teacher and had to teach students on-line during lock-down. The laptop's built-in microphone might be adequate for a speech, but definitely not good enough for a violin. This Blue Snowball made a great difference, students are happy and the lessons quality did not drop. Also it's looking cool! Not really cheap, but well worth it. People react fairly consistently to the clarity of the Snowball constantly in Valorant/CS/etc. "Oh you sound really clear, what mic is that?" comes up like once an evening. Granted this is in comparison to most people's headset mics but the difference is night and day.
It's super bare bones to keep costs low but it's a great trade off. It's simple, and it sounds great. What's not to love about that? Honestly very good soud quality but the worst if you move it around.It takes up a whole amoount of space and the stand for it is so fragile mine fell apart.The top part where u speak too unreasonably big thats why the stand cant even hold its own weight.I bought mine a few months ago and dew to the size of its head it kept on falling over on my keyboard or off of my desk,the falling kept on happeneing until it broke with just a minor fall on too soft carpet floor.I am very happy with it sound but not with its design. I've had this mic for a couple of years now, and I really like it. It feels solid and has good audio quality, I've even recorded my drumset with it- and it did the job well for an amateur setup. I also recently found out that you can turn the orientation of the microphone to look anywhere up to a 45-degree angle- I can't believe I didn't notice that before.

Cons: Red LED stays on even when PC is powered off, so the room glows at night like it's the eye of Sauron. This is easily fixed with a bit of blutack.

I very much enjoy this product and works as intended. There is a problem i come across where audio comes through very quite this may be my srt up but im unsure but besides that this product works well and is easy to use.
