The jbl mics are trash, you need to speak with your mouth touching the mic to be able to get decent sound!! if you speak like 10 cm away u wont hear a thing, they are just garbage. So easy to use.. plug the dongle into your speaker and turn the mic on. Done. Kids can sing over the song to do karaoke, perform their 'theater' at home, feel like they are rock stars etc. I also take it to school, with my JBL party box, and use it for parent nights, camps, information evenings and other public speaking functions. Very satisfied with the product. Have used it for more than a month now and still very happy about it. Very portable and easy to operate. Just plugin the receiver to the mixer like a jack of a wired mic and Voila! works like a charm. I actually used them together with a wired SM58 Shure mic and I couldn't tell the difference.

Microphone is not as powerful as my old set that have a powered box with separate antennas.
These are sufficient & will do the job ok.
