I got this bracket at the same time I bought two LG 27" monitors (Ultragear 27GL650F-B). When speaking with the sales person, I clearly said I wanted my screens orientated in such a way that the main monitor will be directly in front of me, and the second is at a 45 deg angle. He said that it was no problem. Well it was, the fact that the bracket could hold a max of 27" monitors should be a dead giveaway, but he insisted it "will work". So I listened, and it didn't, the most was about 20 - 25 degs. If you want to have them straight on, side by side, then by all means this is brilliant.

However, the main problem for me was that after a day an a half of usage, I noticed the bottom of the screen inching closer to the top of my laptop. It was dropping. I re-tightened the grip associated with the height setting, and about an hour later, it drops - slowly, but it drops.

I have returned this and decided to invest in the more costly Loctek DLB851D2 Quick release dual gas arm mount. I love that one!

These were no good. I purchased two of these dual mounts and both of them were faulty. The part that was supposed to tighten the clamp that holds the arms in place on the centre pole didn't work. Overall very happy with this purchase. FYI each arm is roughly 40cm long and the stand is ~40cm at max height, so if youre planning to run your cables along those to keep them out of sight, make sure you have that extra length in your cables. I had to buy longer cables to allow mine to reach my PC on the ground.

- Built-in 'cable management solution' sucks. Has these flimsy plastic bits to run cables inside the arms, but they are rubbish and only fit one cable per arm. I took them off and just used cable ties to run the wiring across the arms which works but not as clean.
- Had to tighten the screws that control monitor tilt A LOT to prevent them tilting. If for some reason you regularly change the tilt of your monitors, I think you'd experience more unwanted movement (sinking/dipping) of yours over time.
- I don't adjust the height of mine, but it looks like it would be annoying if doing it regularly.

Excellent value for money. Quality and build is good, seems its very sturdy and solid. Joints of arm are solid and won't be loose anytime soon. Price wise this is very good value for money. Works well for a good price. Can move, tilt, and rotate each monitor independently. Though there is no independent height adjustment on each monitor, so make sure the VESA mounting holes are in the same place for each of your monitors if you want your monitors at the same height Works well for a good price. This Brateck dual monitor desk mount is fantastic! It's sturdy, easy to set up, and holds my monitors securely. The adjustable arms make it easy to position the screens just how I want them.
