Brought 2 of these, very happy with them, they do the job well, 1 holding a 7" Tablet I use for guiding me through the Auckland traffic and the other holding a 6" phone in our other vehicle. Holds on well to the vent flaps and the magnet is very strong. I got this during online sale, works great as it should, phone attaches to the vent magnet well but it works better if you have a rigid phone case rather than a soft/flexible one, as when you pull your phone off the magnet the back of a flexible case can bend.
But the box i got looks like it has been opened? There were supposed to be 2 metal plates included (one round shaped and the other square). When i opened the box the square one had it's adhesive side peeled already and was stuck to the wall of the box, and practically unusable. I'm sure I could've returned it but I didn't bother as it was on the cheap. The magnet is very strong. It fits in my Swift's vent. I also have a magnetic Logitec windshield mount with a suction cup, but it kept falling off due to condensation in winter or high temp in summer. The phone was also hard to reach. The vent mount is perfect, it also means I can keep the phone cool out of the sun and I can easily reach it. The magnet is very strong. It fits in my Swift's vent. Great piece of kit, I have two, one in my wife's car and the other in mine. We're taking one of these with us on our South Island holiday in a few weeks to use in the rental car, so it'll make navigation around unknown places easier. After going through a few phone holders for the car, finally this is the best one which I"ve no doubt will be using for many many years. Its simple, hassle-free installation and will work on absolutely any phone. Highly recommend this product for anyone.
