Only 5 Buttons Actually Programmable

As the title says, only five buttons on this mouse are programmable, not eight. This is due to a Windows and game limitation for only 5 buttons being directly supported. To exceed 5 buttons being programmable, the manufacturer needs to supply software that allows you to set the extra buttons to emulate pressing keyboard buttons. However, HP does not provide such software for this mouse. So to claim that it has eight programmable buttons i s a flat out lie. Only but this mouse if you only want 5 buttons that can be programmed.

Good for the price

Good left handed mouse, Typical HP hype not quite delivering. No online software or UI for settings and the Onboard settings not the easiest to navigate or control. Side buttons not independent when changing to LH control. Feel, weight and movement top notch though.
