Razer Naga Trinity Chroma MMO Gaming Mouse

I bought a Naga back in 2008, it's lasted until 2020.

There are some notable differences between the trinity and older models
- larger, more ergonomic
- holding the scroll wheel to the left or to the right allows you to scroll without turning the wheel
- numpad keys are "angled," no longer have bumps on 5 and 11
- numpad keys are easier to click
- comes with alternative side plates to switch out for the numpad

As above. Is good. The swapping sections are nice but i do feel the part move in my palm towards my thumb.

This replaced my 10 year old Original Naga which started breaking down, Good to see the device has largely stayed the same. Using this on a Mac, the Synapse 3 software doesn't work on the mac but there is a good alternative out there called SteerMouse which lets you customise all the buttons just as easily. I've owned the original Razer Naga for many years and it was getting worn down, so purchased this upgraded version. Works just as well but was very confused by the two top buttons being bound to changing the sensitivity. On the older model, it was just Mouse Button 5 and I had it bound for use in games. Took me a bit to figure out why my sensitivity would randomly go through the roof. There doesn't seem to be a way to make it Mouse Button 5 either, which is a shame. I've only just started using a PC, I usually game on console but I like how the side buttons are interchangeable so I can start out simple and as I get used to things I can amp up my buttons. Purchased this mouse because I had the wireless naga. This one is SO much better! The detachable button plates makes the mouse a lot more versatile and the link up with razor synapse version 2.0 for customisation is nice and simple to use. Being able to change the DPI with the buttons by default is a nice change to the old naga. Supremely happy with my purchase. Purchased this mouse because I had the wireless naga. Makes playing MMOs much easier. I personally prefer the 7 button side piece, now I have most of my attacks within reach of my thumb which allows my left hand to focus mostly on movement.

Also when your just doing everyday tasks on the pc you can switch the side panel back to the 2 button piece.

Best gaming mouse I've owned so far. Only use the 12 button side swap out though. Middle click is nice and responsive. Gets a hammering and keeps on going. Synced with my Razer mousepad and Keyboard for lighting effects. Hot swappable DPI is handy if other people use the computer also. Best gaming mouse I've owned so far. This product is great with its detachable button segments, very customization led's and commands. Don't play MMOs but its great for 3d modelling software that has a bunch of crazy keyboard shortcuts.
