Bluetooth connection of the mouse started lagging first then stopped working in the unit I got. Found similar complaints from other users in reddit. Something is missing, was very happy to get it first but not reliable.

Now, initially, I was thinking - for the deal I got it at (Black Friday sale) - surely there has to be a catch with this mouse. Hell, Bluetooth connectivity, mechanical switches, programmable side buttons... but I can't find a flaw in its design at all. The screws on the detachable plate had to be adjusted so that the magnets would hold the plate better - but after that? Amazing to use, super comfortable, super-fast connectivity, no latency (even on Bluetooth!), and a solid build quality considering this is at the lower end of Razer mice available. It blows away the competition in its price bracket, too - the Logitech G502 Hero might have more DPI, but with the unbraided cable and poor plastic quality (my original reason for switching), I'd parade for the Basilisk X Hyperspeed any day.

TL;DR: I highly recommend this for anyone who needs to ditch the cables on a budget. The build quality is amazing and it beats the competition in its price bracket.

Light and ergonomic, I like the programmable buttons. Bluetooth mode can take a few seconds to connect after inactivity, which can be annoying. I originally hated the scroll wheel button (MB3) because it isn't very tactile but after a month of use it has grown on me. The DPI button is very easy to accidently click whilst in use, making the DPI button useless to me even after reprogramming it.
The Razer software is very clunky and oppressive. I wish the multimedia keybinds on MB4 and MB5 were disabled by default, so I didn't have to go through the software to disable the keybinds.

The build quality is good, although I wish MB1, 2, 4 and 5 had more stability as they feel weak and are loose to the touch. The rubber finger padding is okay, be prepared to clean it often if you use your mouse everyday. The smooth plastic channels running throughout the top side of the mouse tend to collect a lot of grime and debris after prolonged use.
For what you are getting the mouse is good for its price, I actually prefer the lack of Razer Chroma and lighting in general as it makes it a more workplace suitable mouse. If you are looking for something flash and eyecatching this isn't the mouse for you. Although it still has the iconic gaming mouse design, it is has a low profile and less obtrustive

This was the perfect mouse for me, being on the cost effecient end of Razer's range: Practical and low profile but without the more extreme features of higher priced gaming mice.

Great Mouse, this is my second one of these. The first one lasted 3 years before the right click jammed. Had to get second to replace it as enjoy the comfort.
