I was looking forward to connecting this up and being able to use 3 screens for work but unfortunately it was not to be. It will do it but only if you don't have anything too resource hungry in the USB inputs. I have a couple of external drives and a UHD monitor connected to my Dell XPS-13 2-in-1 working OK now, but try to connect another monitor and everything grinds to a halt.
That said, it's really good to be able to tidy up my desk and also be providing enough power to the PC to run everything. My old 30W power supply just wasn't cutting it. I've got 2x 27inch screens 1080p with 2 USB devices attached to a laptop with GTX1060 graphics card, the screens often flicker, reconnects and lags badly when using this docking station - also, unlike what the manual says, I was unable to plug 2 devices using the USBC which is a shame - only 1 screen turns on. I've installed the drivers but so far I cant say that Im happy with the purchase. I are trying to use this on a macbook pro with 3 monitors. I worked OK for a day and then the third monitor lost its resolution and went to 640x360. Despite restarting the laptop and Docking station there was no way I could get the third monitor back to its correct resolution. I contacted tech support but they could not fix the problem. I have seen other people online say this unit will only work with 2 monitors. And that is y experience. If you plan on using 3 monitors forget this device, the software supplied with it seems to be very buggy. It is not made by dell despite their logo on it but some other company. I bought this for working from home, my macbook Pro only has USB C ports.

Because it supports transfering display info over USB A it needs a software installed called DisplayLink to run.

It noticeably reduces performance on my system compared to just a regular USB C hub dongle.

There's also a really bright blue light on the back where the power is plugged in just in case I need to know that it's plugged in to power and I don't feel like sleeping.

It does the job but otherwise awful design (especially for this price), I should have just gotten another USB C hub dongle. I bought this for working from home, my macbook Pro only has USB C ports.

Just sharing a couple of major limitations worth knowing about this device if planning to use with Apple lineup:
1. NightShift (or Flux) does not work - if you like having the screens dim orange in the evening, this is not possible on displays connected via the docking station through Display Link. - This is a limitation of the display link software/
2. Screens rotated 90 and used via DisplayLink become super laggy to use with the cursor - very suboptimal, only really good to have displaying data or video but not fun to try and interact with too much. OOOSH - this thing is great - works with my MS Surface Pro flawlessly with two screens, and just as good with my wife's older work laptop. I had one of these supplied by my work for home use that they took back, and even though it wasn't the cheapest, definitely glad I bought another to replace the work one. The prices makes it very attractive and ease of use makes it very worthwhile.

I have a new laptop that comes with a 90W power adaptor so I was looking for a dock that can deliver 90W. But after comparing the available docks that PB Tech had, I decided that I could live with one USB-C port used by the power adaptor and the other port used by this dock.

Today I forgot to bring my power adaptor to work and was expecting I would have to go home early at some point when the laptop battry power becomes low. To my surprise it remains at 100% charged after many hours. Then I realised the 65W power delivered by this Dell dock is already good enough to power up my laptop.

By default the M1 MacBook Air only supports 1 external monitor irrespective of its resolution and connection type.
According to Dell they will only provide support for the D6000 connected to Dell hardware and it should work out of the box with Windows 10.

With some effort and configuration and an older version of DisplayLink Manager (v1.1) I was able to run the two external 4k monitors using display port connectors, the ethernet port, the USB 3.0 ports and the USB-C charger. The Dell D6000 Docking Station delivered far more than I had expected and is definitely great value for money. Based on my experience, I highly recommend the Dell D6000 Docking Station for the M1 MacBook Air.
