Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 5 15ALC05 15.6" FHD Touch Flip Laptop

My first Lenovo - it worked briefly until Windows 11 update caused boot to fail. PBTech staff were very helpful and got it booting again. It worked for a few days but now failing to boot again for no apparent reason. I see others have had issues with this model and Windows 11 so maybe there is a driver or other hardware issue. Tried the Lenovo web site for support but no chance of talking to a human and generally seems to be hours of form filling before they tell you in re-install Windows and the cycle begins again!

So, in summary, very pleased with it initially but it is now unusable, sucking up hours of time, and so warrants this negative review.

Nice large and responsive screen. Modest brightness and sharpness.

I do like this product, I wanted a product to cover off all the above - it's super fast and making my previous frustrations with IT non existent! The part I haven't liked so far is that there is no case for when you use it like a tablet, a case like ipad's have, just to protect the keyboard when its upside down. Did I mention its really fast! Went looking for another brand of laptop but chose this Lenovo instead. It’s my second Lenovo and I’m really pleased with my purchase. It’s fast, got plenty of memory and storage, it’s light and has a big screen. Everything I wanted and more and for a far better price. Highly recommended. Upgraded to Win11, kept on having blue screen every 30 seconds with an error code 'Kmode Exception Not Handled'. No time to deal with it so switched back to Win10. Can't leave one star review as a guest, I bought this laptop in shop so don't have an account.
