I have a long house with a home office some way and through walls from the fibre ONT. On a basic 300Mbps Spark plan. I am getting 270, 290, even 310Mbps at my desk. Outstanding. I bought these as opposed to the less expensive XD6 models as they are supposedly better in a mesh system with no wired backhaul. No complaints at all now they're up and running.
One thing for Slingshot customers though, although PBTech provide online setup guides for other ISPs and including settings that may not be obviously available from your provider, there was none for these and Slingshot. Probably added about 5-10 minutes in setup time for me but definitely not a deal killer. I like the Asus interface and app which makes running the system a breeze also. Would buy again. What a difference an extra 5GHz band makes! No longer experiencing random WiFi dropouts and better throughput overall.

Also the app is more user friendly and highly configurable even if using them in AP mode.

Overall works well, getting 500-600 next to the router and 300 from the node downstairs (I'm on ultrafibre plan).
The price is a bit expensive as you would expect from a mesh router.
Set up was certainly not as easy as the manual or youtube claim it is. I had to hire a professional to do it. Overall works well, getting 500-600 next to the router and 300 from the node downstairs (I'm on ultrafibre plan).

Really easy install and works perfectly. Good string signal and phone app works really well making set up an absolute breeze. Setting up as ai mesh was easy and I'm no longer getting queries from the family as to which WiFi they need to connect to. The units are not small so it's like having a router in your room. Really ready set up, great that protection and parental controls are built in and don't cost any extra. And most importantly, speeds and coverage are fantastic. If your budget allows I would rate this the best all-around Mesh system at present. Incredible difference in my house for both speed and coverage (40mb down in the lounge to 800mb, no there isn't an extra zero there, it is 20x faster now) and no blind spots at all within the house (and probably not the neighbours houses either for that matter). Simple to set up, smartphone app is useful, full web interface packed with features (and none of the dishonest trial anti-malware that then requires a subscription seen from some competitors). This did not work out of the box, I had to call support which was only open during business hours.

To set this product up on Spark you have to go into LAN -> IPTV and set Internet to 10. A weird setting but support were aware of it and this then got it working. I recommend PBTech tell customers in advance.
