ASUS TUF-AX3000 Wi-Fi 6 Gigabit Gaming Router, Dual-Band AX3000, Dedicate Gaming Port, VPN, AIMesh Ready, Fibre Ready

Looks great. Fast when it works. Worked for about 3 weeks with no problems on spark. But now disconnects and reconnects repeatedly every day. My previous modem router was Asus RT-AC59U from Stuff Fibre, it worked great but decided to change to a new ISP which is 2 Degrees. I decided not to go with 2 Degrees Fritz box and purchase my own modem/router. I was hesitant since configuration might be a problem. I still decided to stick with Asus since I liked the phone app. The TUF-AX3000 has a different(more fancy ) user interface, than the RT-AC59U. Size Dimension is way bigger. I was able to configure the settings of the TUF-AX3000 for Stuff Fibre, it took me some time in finding the settings but once I found it it was easy. So far I am not having any wifi dropouts compared to the RT-AC59U which I get occasional dropouts once in a while. I can make 3 Guest wifi on both 2.4 ghz and 5 ghz which is a great feature for me.

I needed a better router because the default one that came from the internet provider was losing packets for some devices connected by ethernet.
This one fixed the problem and also the wifi speed has improved (now I can watch 4k streams without interruptions).

I have had this router for the past 2 weeks. My 2.4ghz is working fine but my 5 ghz keeps randomly disconnecting. My 5ghz at times can't even be seen. Any suggestions? Cons include:
Poor range
3 cores isnt enough most the time
Slower than my previous asus router that costed the same by about 200mbps
Finicky setup process that could have you on the phone to your isp for a hour getting it running Pros include:

really does its job, it was a replacement for ISP provided router and the difference is huge, can now reach nice wifi signal in whole house. Setting it up was easy as well, we are with Contact, you dont even need to know the password or anything to your account with them. Not into games but wanted quality so, based on the previous experience with Asus product, purchased this router.

Went from provider issued router - consistently dropping out to this router and wow what a difference this router makes. If you are still using your supplier issued Router this is a great upgrade to go for.
