Having bought these before, I thought they were good quality, with a secure locking mechanism. These previous ones I have owned have held up for a number of years. But they are quite expensive for what they are, and it is easy to confuse between the Blue and Red connectors. Including some coloured rubber sleeves would provide protection and make them easier to differentiate. Having bought these before, I thought they were good quality, with a secure locking mechanism. I've been using these for my home theatre speaker connections for about three weeks now. Excellent strong connection for 12 gauge speaker wire. Makes it easy to connect and disconnect speakers from amp. Isn't sold with the rubber/plastic cover that will cover the screws and really tidy the connection up. This plugs are great, love the double screw and solid connection. However the ring with the writing on it ratlles at certain frequencies. I don't know if there's a specific cover for them , but I taped all mine up with electrcal tape and they're sorted now. This plugs are great, love the double screw and solid connection.
