Not too difficult to setup though you have to create an online account before the process will complete. Good upgrade from the ISP supplied router which was freezing every few days, noticeable improvement in website loading speed and now getting the full 950 Gbps download from 2 degrees. So far 100% stable operation. Expensive for a home setup but I need reliability so you get what you pay for - recommended. I've been using the UDR7 for little over a month now and I can positively say that I'm satisfied with it. Its by no means considered to be "cheap", but it is a stepping stone into the Ubiquiti eco-system and something I'll be building upon in the future.
I've got it setup with a Gigabit Fiber connection from 2degrees and I've have no issues saturating the bandwidth through the UDR7. I cannot confirm the speeds about 2.5 and 10 Gigabit, but I trust Ubiquiti here.

This is a complicated animal of you want it to be. Easy to setup and just use, but if you have issues or just want more details and a greater understanding this router is just brilliant. With the YouTube videos and all the other online support you can just keep improving your understanding. This is without breaking your connection or stuffing things up. For larger spaces or properties, additional access points are strongly recommended to achieve reliable coverage.
