Replacement PSU
Bought a Cooler Master as I have always found them to be a reliable brand. This PSU was no exception, and is was an easy install which worked first time. There are quite a few power leads not being used, which needed to be restrained. Would consider a component PSU next time, as I generally don't need multiple power sources (just M/Board 24 + 4, V?Card, (SSD & DVD) SATA's x 2)
Ideal power supply for me
Having accidentally damaged the existing power supply in my 6 year old self-built desktop computer, I ordered this as a brand known to me. I felt the small power saving in going to a Gold rated supply was hardly worthwhile and considerably more expensive, so this was my choice.While not the lowest cost supply on offer, it represents good value IMHO.
The flat cabling was new for me and proved a good idea. It was a simple job to replace the supply and I was up and running again quite quickly.

Works as it should
I have a fairly high power draw system, and it sits not too far below max capacity (usually sits at 540w while gaming) and it still manages to be inaudible. If you like a silent system, would recommend.
Well priced and quiet
I bought this to install in an mATX case with a Ryzen 9 5900x and GTX970 graphics card. It runs nice n quiet, and is a weeks worth of groceries cheaper than most other 650W PSU's, so I'm happy with it. Should also be enough wattage to upgrade to an RTX 3070 or similar down the track a bit.

80 Plus Bronze Efficiency
The efficiency of your power supply unit is important because it directly affects you system's performance and your power bill. The efficiency rating does not reflect the quality or reliability of a PSU. It only reflects the unit's ability to move power from the wall to your components. The higher a PSU's efficiency is, the lower the total amount of power it needs to power your system. DC-to-DC Circuit Design
Power comes in multiple voltage levels. The wall delivers power in one voltage level but your components each need a specific voltage to operate properly. The process of converting raw power from the wall to the multiple voltage levels your parts need requires special components to complete this process quickly, efficiently, and safely. The MWE Bronze's DC-to-DC + LLC technology was painstakingly crafted to accomplish this goal. The Dual Forward circuit layout has been designed to convert 12V power to 3V and 5V levels with minimal ripple noise, 80 PLUS Bronze efficiency, and reduced risk to your connected hardware.
Active Power Factor Correction
The many processes required by a power supply unit in order to take power directly from the wall or other fixed power source, convert it to the correct output required by the connected components, and then distribute that power to said components safely can be full of risks. This is why it's important for a PSU to have the right protections and regulations to ensure this process runs correctly.
The MWE Bronze's Active Power Factor Correction uses a specialized circuit to correct power factor, leading to reduced total harmonics, corrected AC input voltage, and increased overall efficiency output.
120mm HDB Fan
