ASUS SBC Tinker Board S Entry Level, Developer Pick, Android Kit & 4K Media Player KODI Center

IMPORTANT NOTE: Please check the manual which at the bottom of box carefully. You will know how to boot the ASUS Tinker Board S!

Getting Started of Android:

1. Preparing software. Official Android: Android 7 Nougat 14.4.0.5 Beta Version 2020/03/18.  -->Android Image [320MB]. Download and unzip it.
2. Format a MicroSD card by SD Memory Card Formatter if necessary. Then write the Image file into the card by Win32diskimager.
3. Move the onboard jumper which is next to MicroUSB power port to eMMC Recovery mode like the screenshot shown below.

4. Insert the card into the MicroSD Slot which at the backside of board.
5. Connect power switch and power, HDMI cable, mouse and keyboard, speaker or headphone, lan, monitor, etc,.
6. Turn switch on and wait.

Getting Started of 4K Media Player KODI Center:

Note: TinkerOS default username is "linaro", password is " linaro".

1. Make sure the network adapter working well.
2. System Tools - LXTeminal. Type in

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade

3. Then type in

sudo apt-get install kodi

4. You will find Kodi media center under "Sound & Video".

5. How to switch audio output from HDMI to 3.5mm jack under KODI? Follow step below to setup:

Settings-System settings-Audio-Audio output device-'Headset-Output, Headset-Output (PULSEAUDIO)'.

6. You can play TV/SHOW/MOVIES/RAIDO by installing add-ons in KODI.
