Raspberry Pi Aluminum Black Alloy Case with Fan for Raspberry Pi 2 / 3 Model B B+

Not sure if I got the wrong model but even looking now, I can't see how this would work.

If you look at how the fan is positioned in the photos, what is it screwed onto? There are no screw holes there. Either you would need to drill a hole through your Pi or you would need to find a heat sink (Not packaged) that would be that perfect size AND has screw holes in the correct position.

The screw holes in the fan are also not threaded so even if you manage to get a screw through the top plate to just screw the fan on there, it's not gonna happen. So essentially, the fan is useless unless you find a heatsink that magically fits it.

Mine also came with a bunch more screws and "bits" that I needed. Some spacer looking plates that I'm not sure what their use is. Also the top panel is tightened with a single screw in my model and not 4 screws. And the gap for where your SD card goes is nowhere near the size as pictured. Doesn't make a difference but also makes me nervous about what I got vs what is pictured.

All in all, it's a really good looking case. But what you see is definitely not what you get.

The picture of this product is not what you are purchasing. Enclosed in the box is just the case and a loose fan - no mounting system for the fan and no heatsink (pictured). The case is nice, feels good, was simple to put together.

The fan is trash, There is no mount for the fan, so you screw it to the hole array in the top vent, where it'll slowly develop a hum. The image shows a fan mounted on the chip, possibly with a heatsink. Its not the case, the contents don't have either.

Only other issue I've had is you either need tweezers/long nose pliers to get the micro SD card out of the slot it has, the wall has an area cut out, designed nicely, but restricts your fingers from getting purchase against the 2 sides of the card, and the 3b isn't using a spring loaded card slot.
