Mine initially arrived with an empty Raspberry Pi box. Fully glued and sealed, but empty. 2 weeks later after much to-ing and fro-ing I get a Raspberry Pi delivered. The perspex case is cheap and requires fiddly assembly. The keyboard has a range of about 7 feet - no good for my purposes - just use Yatse. The HDMI cables were 2m rather than the 1m advertised so that was good. The inline on/off switch works fine but unnecessary in my opinion. Oh, this was touted as a KODI kit, but the (no name) mSD card didn't have KODI on it - just a vanilla Raspi OS, so I used a spare card and loaded LibreELEC on that and ran the OS from a USB 3 stick - way faster. This Raspi 4 8Gb can run 4K H.265 files natively which was why I bought it. It does that well, in fact it runs KODI very smoothly - worth the upgrade from a lesser model. You might do as well with a 4Gb version too. Handles a library of 16,000+ video files without breaking a sweat. Overall, This product was built to maximise profit, not user experience.

The keyboard is very small - I'll use a standard keyboard/mouse and repurpose this one for the TV. We've been using for a day now. I downloaded the Raspberry Pi Beginners guide and gave it to my 11 YO son with this box of goodies. He set it up and is now learning Python. Awesome. This is a great value pack. Pi4 is weak for its Bluetooth connection. Buying this "official Kit", I expect the official case and case fan. They are not. I spend day not able to fit it together. The Bluetooth keyboard drops off frequently and it cannot even be used even if you connect it directly with the pi. I returned it the next day and ask for credit. I took the company two weeks to say there is nothing wrong about the product and want to return this useless product to me. I demand a refund under the Consumer Guarantees Act. I originally purchased this for a Kodi/Plex Server but it's a bit light and I have gone with an old laptop instead. I currently have it running with "Emulation Station" on it and it works well for that. You have to build the box to hold it and that's a bit fiddly but no real dramas.
