Well, I claim temporary insanity because I bought these for my 5 year old daughter, and now I have to listen to Barbie and Paw Patrol at max vol. Turn it down, please. They are very good speakers. I recently upgraded my PC and got these speakers at the same time.
They are so much better than the ones in a monitor.
I really like having the separate power and volume switches that I can have on my desk, away from the sub and the PC itself.
It was really easy to set up and use.
The sound is great for the price.

The sound quality is good and worth the price. There is a little beep sound when no music is playing. The sound quality is good and worth the price. There is a little beep sound when no music is playing.

Purchased these with low expectations, I'd read reviews that indicated poor quality of these units etc. Plugged them into a TV to replace small, cheap, old PC speakers. These are a marked improvement, they have good bass, all the deeper notes are rendered clearly and there's another layer to many strands of music etc, and you can hear people talking clearly. Not in the same league as more expensive and elaborate units, but for what you pay I'm more than happy with these, they're better than I expected. Straightforward setup too. It leaves the speakers in any monitor for dead, and while they won't rock the house, or rattle the windows, they put out enough sound to be acceptable.
The THD levels are quite high, and so you won't be listening to any music unless you're watching video at the same time.
What's left to say: a bargain! I have experience of several evolved versions of this basic Logitech speaker system.

I've been using these for about 2 weeks now, all in all I'm happy with these speakers. I thought they sounded a bit too much bass coming out of the mid range drivers but this is easily tweaked with equalizer software on my PC. Got them when they were on sale, great bang for the buck! I've owned this speaker system for a couple of months now and I m really happy with them.

The front speakers are good quality and not tinny, they also come with a good length of cable, mine sit either side of two 27 inch monitors. The sub woofer adds an excellent kick of base to the set up but isn't overpowering. Its a really nice balanced system for the price. Its a great choice for a decent, low priced, desktop speaker system.

Great sound for its price, the mini control pod is handy! I've been using it for a few weeks.
