I purchased this 4 port with 2 double-spaced ports for use with small appliances in my kitchen, some of which have those wider-type plugs, specifically my modem and landline phone. It does the job perfectly, leaving me 2 more spaces to plug in those little things like the toaster, blender, can opener, etc that have standard plugs. The next improvement on these things would be a retractable cord so that I can pull out just as much cord as needed and not have a metre of cord hanging around my 'appliance garage'. Take note manufacturers!
