I wanted a cable that could plug into USB-A (given their ubiquity still) but charge my iPad Air 4, which now has a USB-C port, and finding one was crucial to my travel arrangement. Not to mention, it is Xiaomi so I could trust it. I do love the braided nature of the cable too, which was an added bonus, and the quality is such that I wish more of my other cables had this. The cable is very reliable as it wont break as easily as normal cables due to the braided material, the charging of my phone has no problem and this has not changed for about a month and seems like it will be good for a long time. Definitely a good buy if you are planning to purchase a cable for the long run.
