Part of a new Build replacing something I built 7 years ago.
Used an after market cooler instead of the original one.
So so much faster that the 7 year old machine and it does not heat the room like the last one!

For the price of the CPU, coming with a cooler, is one of the best valued processors you can get. Absolutely hums with anything I ask it to do and very happy. Still a great option if you're looking to run a cheaper build on the am4 platform. Runs smoothly at 1080p and 1440p, stock fan is reasonable too, will probably upgrade to something better in the future but not necessary. I bought this as an upgrade from an old i5 and the difference was night and day, smooth and fast. Great value for money.

I bought this cpu as it has 6 cores and 12 threads (which is plenty enough for gaming on any setting). It was such a good buy for the price and I don’t regret it, I highly think you should get it if you are building your first pc and don’t have bucket loads to spend on it. Been using this bad boy for couple weeks now on a pc build did for my nephew gaming little bit of streaming and everything else you can do with a pc does all you need and more.
