Worth the wait

The wait for the release of Zen3 was worth it. Runs like an absolute dream. Decided on 5800 over the 5600 simply future proofing any future requirements for only little exrra $.

Side note, PBTech team did a great job keeping everyone informed of availability and release dates.

Good CPU

Waited some time after planning to get 3800x. Worth the wait and extra money. Had for about 2 weeks now and its great.

AWESOME!

Picked one of these up just after release to combo with a RTX3070. It handles everything I throw at it without a hitch. And even in a mini itx build it runs at decent temps under a 120mm aio with only 1 exhaust fan under positive pressure. Confident this power will be more than sufficient for a few years :)

Excellent performance for the price

Upgraded from an i7 6700. This 5800x can easily boosts to 4.5 Ghz all cores, the 16 threads greatly reduce my C++ project's compilation time.

Very fast, very hot

CPU is really fast but it runs HOT!

Just make sure you get adequate cooling, i'd go with a 3 fan water cooled radiator option.

7 day right of exchange
