it has significantly improved my gaming performance. very good for its price, it's more like a steal getting away with 120fps normal settings on mw 2019 over 200fps on minecraft on the highest settings 600fps if lowered to 10chunks with all fancy graphics

Have been running this CPU for a few weeks now, super fast for pretty much everything, up there with the fastest CPUs available for tasks using 8 cores or less. Using the stock cooler and it is significantly quieter than my old i7 (also using the stock cooler, has 25w more TDP) even at full load, temps don't get that high. For anything that uses the graphics card (1070ti) the fans on that are louder. Coming from a 4th gen Intel, this upgrade has made me realise what I had been missing out on for so long! I am so impressed with its ability to keep up with everything I throw at it, and while I'm no big gamer, I appreciate the speeds and the energy savings from this CPU. I find the i3 most adequate for my photo/video editing, internet browsing and gaming every now and then. don't be put off by this being a core i3, which in the past were slow - this cpu is faster than the core i7 from a few generations ago.....if you combine with 4th gen SSD NVMe then you have a really fast budget system, highly recommended. Note - I got the tech guy in store to install this into the mobo for me - it is easy to break the tiny little cpu pins if you are not careful. don't be put off by this being a core i3, which in the past were slow - this cpu is faster than the core i7 from a few generations ago.....if you combine with 4th gen SSD NVMe then you have a really fast budget system, highly recommended.
