It is such a lightweight drive I expected it to be noisy, however it was very very quiet.

Not actually compatible with four brands of TV

We bought this dvd drive to replace the faulty one currently in the desktop, but also we bought it to be able to play dvds on any one of our tvs. We have a main tv, the old main tv, and two small bedroom tvs. ALL of them play multimedia from a Usb stick, NOT ONE of them is compatible with this external dvd drive, and one of them is Panasonic.

I would not recommend, and given the fact its sat in the draw since we bought it, I wish we had returned it when we had the chance.

Would be nice if it worked; unfortunately it doesn't and won't eject the disk either, although there is an eject hole to get the disk out which is good. It seems pretty cheaply made, though I expected that. We'll see how good the returns process is..
