Was looking for a good metal case enclosure for M2 SSD. Had been disappointed with previous other brands tried that were slow, got very hot or just died. Saw this was ASUS and looked very solid with good specs. So far has lived up to my expectations. A bit pricey but good performance and quality so I got what I paid for. Recommended. Bought this as I was upgrading my M.2 SSD and wanted to repurpose my old drive as portable storage drive and this has been fantastic, nice and easy to keep track of, nice and solid construction and simple to use if swapping the SSD within it. Very good SSD enclosure, have been using this since November 2021 with an Adata XPG SX8200 SSD. The Asus enclosure keeps it nice and cool, usually in the mid- 30's when in use, and around 30-ish degrees when it's idle. The only thing is that the enclosure can get quite warm with extended periods of use. Overall the design seems very good, but the R-hook is made of plastic, so I'm not sure if I'd trust it all that much. The RGB lighting is nice as well. Not too over-bearing.
I got it in the Black Friday specials, so I'd say it was alright value for money since it was on special.

Was a bit skeptical at first about the price at first, but when it was on special I went for it. Turns out to be a good enclosure, handy to have the strap and hook to latch onto one of those loops in your bag - save rummaging around at the bottom of the carry bag. Performs well.
