Microsoft Xbox Wireless Controller + Wireless Adapter For Windows 10/11

I bought a single controller and this controller with the bluetooth dongle, the range is great, and it allows for up to 8 controllers at once.
I use with steam on my upstairs computer and steam link to the downstairs tv and am able to play couch co op games with my partner.

Great for indie games on Steam like Moonlighter, Battlechasers:Nightwar that are designed for controller.

Also great for games like Middle Earth:Shadow of War that were not designed to be played with a keyboard and mouse and had them added in later on during porting.

Fantastic for fighting games like SoulCalibur.

I picked this version because it came with the wireless adapter. I usually like playing wired so there is less chance of battery running out but wanted something I could use in bed easily because I have had some surgery lately and cannot sit and game at my desk for long periods of time and this has been absolutely perfect.

It uses 2 AA batteries. I find it best if you have wireless keyboard and mouse as well to get a few rechargeable AA batteries and have them charged as spares just in case something runs out and you want to quickly switch but if you are not using it constantly you can probably get away with putting in some fresh non-rechargeable batteries from time to time if you don't have a charger or want to pay for rechargeable batteries.
